What is RHCT?

RHCT certification stands at bottom level or entry level Linux certification. RHCT was first of all introduced in Jan 2003. It is offered by Red Hat incorporation in USA. Clearing this certification means that a person understands the live Linux system fully at basic level. Red Hat Certified Technician is a performance-based test that measures actual competence on live systems.

RHCT is the first step in establishing Linux credentials and is an ideal certification for those transitioning from non-UNIX/Linux environments. An RHCT has proven technician-level competencies required to install, attach, configure, and manage new Red Hat systems on an existing production network. RHCTs are capable of performing the core system administration common to all systems, regardless of whether they are workstations, servers, network devices, or some other kind of system.

RHCT certification training is experiencing a great demand in IT industry area. In recent years, the RHCT certification has become a global standard for many successful IT companies. Using RHCT practice questions with online testing engine and self test software.
